I take the shreaded wheat and wheetabix but add a "small" amout off rice crispies or cherios to it. Just a small amount, but you are still getting the high fibre with a bit more taste and texture. Works for me.

Vodka and diet coke for me. No carbs, but I will take one beer through the night to make sure my glucose is ok. Keeps my weight steady too.

I used to drink beer and lager but it was putting my sugar through the roof. I only drink Vodka and diet coke now and it has made a huge difference to my health. Worth a try. I do miss the beer, but not the sugar highs.

Re: Driving license renew I just received my renewal. As said above it comes 3 months before your old one runs out. You do have to fill in too many forms. They want a consultant contact number and your GP contact number. Plus many more bits of info. Best tip is always have your driving license...
