I always find them a bit too dry but can stomach them if they're the tropical flavour. But when needed I'll get down anything even glucogel which I find to have a horrid taste/texture
Maybe not the right attitude but its once a year I don't go daft but if I fancy something I have a little bit of it. I like chocolate so I have a few miniature heroes or whatever is about just don't go daft is my advice.
Not an easy question stay within the docs recommended daily unit allowance and then how much you can drink depends on the sugar content of the particular drink, don't go mad on the cider

As a 'treat' I don't think a McDonald's breakfast is awful. I go for a sausage and egg McMuffin, the egg is just a normal egg, granted the sausage won't be anything like you get from the butcher, instead of a hash brown I go for the fruit bag then I have a black coffe as my drink.
For me Jelly babies easy to carry and store. can fit it all my coat pocket unliek Lucozae and they taste nice..............too nice, sometimes I have too many :shifty:
I normally have it every year but just moved surgery and they have just had the last clinic. My old surgery had tons of appointments up until late October, not sure what to do now. Will ring them and see if I can go elsewhere.
I have the problem the other way round, I spike straight away then once my novorapid has had it's 4 hours to work I'm usually back somewhere around target
