Day 3 of taking my metformin every 5 hours, and I’m thinking of going back to taking 2 in the morning and 2 at night. I now seem to be having a little trouble going. Not had that problem for years. It’s something different. :-)

Just a tip here. I’m on two 500ml metformin sr tablets twice a day. I have found by taking one tablet every 4 or 5 hours. The side effects are halved. The toilet problem are a lot less, which is a relief, and my numbers are staying as normal. So I’d say play about with your dose , you may find...

I’m on metformin sr. And take 1000 mg at breakfast 8am, then 1000mg about 10pm with a bit of toast. My BG readings are better at these times, for me.

I have tried most meds. I’m back on metformin slow release now. And there no better than normal metformin. Which both give me a bad tummy.

Thank you for that, my cholesterol is only slightly high, apparently the doctor wants me on these tablets because I have peripheral vascular disease, apparently it makes my blood slippery, so I’m told.

That’s it. No more of them, I can hardly move, tried all the different statins and these. Think I will live with the cholesterol. thanks people.

Does anyone here take EZETROL Ezetimibe 10mg for cholesterol !!!, if so, do your joints and muscles hurt in your arms and legs.???

It’s just been a slow increase over the last week, no cold. But I’m going to see the nurse on Monday.

Low carb, I’ve never known it go so hi, and I really don’t think I have ate that much junk, I have only been on these meds 3 weeks, it has to be them. ?? I just made an appointment at the docs for Monday. Hope I will manage till then. [emoji382][emoji382]

I don’t think it’s the food my friend, I have just had my injection, I will give it a cpl of hours and test again, I’m sure it’s the meds.

Today. Just a small salad for dinner. I did have a few oven chips to. I’ve tried not eating anything, and it still goes up. !!!
