What a great forum!! Diagnosed type 1 in July 2018; numbers off the diabetes charts. Life was a nasty rollercoaster without the fun factor for months. Doing very well with an excellent almost vegan diet and exercise; feels like a full-time job but numbers are pretty great. Better high than low is my motto now. Lantus is my buddy; the fast acting knocks me right out. Potent stuff. (Hope the "honeymoon" never ends.) Looking for great trees to hug and learning to identify animal tracks out here in B.C., Canada. Want to do some serious hiking this summer with backpack and kids and paddling again so I’m
