Morning, Im at 6.6 at 8.30 today. Got my first blood results yesterday since I was originally diagnosed 3 months ago when i was 118 Im now at 53, hopefully it'll be lower again in 3 months time :)
Well today I skipped breakfast as I wasn't that hungry, for lunch I had a 2 egg omelette with broccoli and I think for dinner later will be pork chop with veg.
On a side note I'm quite a noob at this, so was wondering if I'm going for less than 50g of carbs per day how much protein should I be...
Well today's the first day i have took a reading as i only got it yesterday and its 9.7. High but its early days doing the low carb diet so hopefully both my waist and reading will start to come down.

I had a 2 egg omelette with a little cheese for breakfast, lunch was a chicken breast with broccoli, carrots and cauli. Dinner is going to be Chicken Korma with broccoli instead of rice.
I'm not testing yet, although reading on here sounds like something i really ought to start to do, ill bring it up with the nurse when I go in next week.
To be honest i haven't set myself a limit for low carbs, just to try to be as low as poss to start out with, so thinking the likes of eggs...
Hey, newly diagnosed so thought i'd join in.
Breakfast - Wholegrain rolled oats with blueberries. (may need to change as trying to be as low carb as poss.)
Lunch - Chicken, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots with a small amount of sriracha.
Dinner - Will be a chicken dinner with plenty of veg.
