    Hi, does anybody use Novomix 30, my mother has just been moved in to it. Her glucose is r7nning extremely high? Blood gas was 50 (currently in hosp) I believe its this insulin. Was OK on the other one. I'm not after a medical opinion, just experience with as they've up units to 48, split on two...

    Hi. Have you self tested? I'm recently diagnosed an were that high. I'm now on 4 metformin a day and watch my carb intake. Before tea it was 8.4 not ideal but improving. Check for sugar in processed foods and have a look at the book carb & cals. I was amazed at some of content of carbs in things.
