    Using my fitness pal I did my meal plan for today (which is quite typical on a day to day basis) and the macros show protein 59% fat 34% and carbs 7%.

    Can anyone help me. Trying low carb high fat but I am always eating more protein than I should. I can't seem to get the ratio right. I eat meat eggs bacon etc but they all push up the protein. Trouble is I am not a great fan of vegetables I will eat them at a push but really don't enjoy them...

    Type 2 Feeling like poo

    Started a month ago and yes I have dropped the carb intake by quite a bit. Just finding the lack of energy quite difficult to cope with. I will keep it up and persevere and as you say hopefully everything will pick up.

    I have the sd code free and also accu check mobile. The code free consistently gives a much higher reading than the accu check.

    Travel Insurance

    I don't know if this will help at all but I have my travel insurance with Lloyds bank as part of my account benefits. I pay £13 per month. All my medical problems are covered which includes diabetes. I had to make a claim back in Feb this year had no problem.
