Re: Anyone use Byetta? Sorry :oops: - it's not that metformin damages the pancreas. Its just that it doesn't protect the pancreas from further deteriation. I was told that Byetta protects the pancreas.

PLEASE DO NOT DO THE ATKINS DIET!!!!!! The Atkins diet is not a good diet for anyone but for people with Diabetes or Hypoglycemia it is really bad. Excluding any major food group is bad. Eating high fat foods like cream, cheese and too much red meet is bad. And anything that makes your breath...
