Sapien

Diagnosed with "impaired fasting glucose" at 103 mg/dl, 5.7 mmol/L. Bought a meter and started testing at home and discovered blood sugar spikes much higher than expected. Switched diet to low carb, high protein, moderate fat. Now blood sugars in normal but still not ideal range. Post-prandial readings responded immediately; fasting blood sugar slowly coming down.
