You can check the amount left in the pen by dialling up as far as it goes - it will turn back to zero. Unless there is just a few units left (+ airshot) it is wasteful to start a new pen, just inject what is left in old pen, noting the amount carefully, then inject the remainder from a new pen.

I repeat that the greater danger, even if rare, is not hypos but DKA, and this is why you need to be careful not to go too low carb. Please make yourself aware of the symptoms of DKA and equip yourself with Ketostix so that you can test your urine if you feel ill. Remember with the flozins DKA...

The rare but potentially very serious side-effect is euglycemic DKA ie DKA at normal BG levels which may not be recognised quickly. See 1.21 in @KennyA 's link. DKA should be mentioned on the PIL.

I think OP is referring to the Time in Range so 70 - 84% in range means 70 to 84% of the time they are in the range of 3.9 - 10 mmol/L. It isn't a BG itself.

Trace shown is mid to high 3s, so not a severe hypo at all. People without diabetes can go into the 3s.

That site is US based as it talks about net carbs and includes fibER in the carbs. This forum is based in the UK. UK labels and websites do NOT include fibRE in the carbs so do not subtract fibre. Net carbs is not a thing in the UK.
