I itch lots - some of it is side effects to meds like Ramipril - I had no idea some of it is due to the diabetes itself. For me it is back of the neck, arms, legs but sometimes much more widespread.
I am surprised that this has happened to you in Derbyshire - I am in Heanor and have no probs getting stuff from my GP - he goes along with the specialists at Ripley.

Everyone reacts differently and no-one can tell you how to feel or what to do. You need to take care of you - be honest with yourself and those who are tasked with caring for you - your professional team and take the steps you need to to begin to get well.

Yes I guess so. My usual lesson is two hours so I would guess we will have a two hour lesson then a break for lunch then the test. I will just make sure I test often - I am usually high but will take every precaution.

Having read so much on here about carbs I am convinced that the low carb approach is worth trying. We are all different so what works for one might not suit another but there are so many positive outcomes here.
I have cut my carbs by over half and my readings have come down from the 15-20 range...
I was told to put them in a screw top plastic bottle and then put them in the general bin. This is what I have been doing. I will talk to my GP and local pharmacist.

Since then I have successfully halved my carb intake and remembered all my insulin injections. I will be well to see my kids grow up.

I have fpr the past three days measured my carbs with a daily limit of 150ish and remembered all of my injections. BM are coming down with several readings in single figures. Very Happy and encouraged.
