I you have only started using it today there is always a 20% difference between Dexcom 1 and your finger pricking score for the first 24 hours. You will rarely get them matching after 24 hours. Dexcom is really good for using when you are travelling or not in a suitable place to finger prick.
Have you ever wore the sensor on your thigh or stomach? I put my first sensor on my thigh as was told it should be on the arms or stomach. Readings were no different on the thigh.
I was put on Tresiba in July of this year. I am not getting any immediate drops in my levels when I have injected it. However I have dropped the amount of Novorapid I injected previously. I assume the Tresiba must be working better than the Lantus I used for years?
Thank you so do you just tell them at the airport that you are wearing a pump & CGM? After 5 years of wearing a CGM have you found it a lot easier when at home & travelling than before?
I have started to use a DEXCOM ONE and I will need a MDA card for travelling. I have printed one off. Does anyone have an actual card or just a print out? Also any thought of the DEXCOM ONE?
