Re: Anyone use Byetta? I think I have been very lucky Dennis as my hospital has a diabetic centre who trialled Byetta for 18 months before it went on release here so they tend to know a fair bit. They are also very flexible and always willing to discuss things.

Re: Anyone use Byetta? Travelling guy - I was very sick on the 10 dose for 3 months so I went back down to the 5 and my Hba1c is now down to 5.9. Why don't you just try sticking to the lower dose and see how it works? Try discussing it with your doc/nurse.

Why not discuss going on the slow release Glucophage with your doc. Is there not a liquid version of the ordinary Metformin. I did hear my chemist talking about it once as he was saying how some people find the size of the tablets difficult.
