What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

This was my original idea, but somehow succumbed to Ikea etc flimsy kitchen units. Also had double sink, not really neccessary but fitted perfectly into window reveal - looks great but we could have used the space better. Maybe even used the unit I gave away because i wanted drawers and it...

22.11 9..10am FBG 5.4 The relocation of kitchen supplies has created yet another issue. The drawer unit has partially collapsed due to "overloading." Any ideas where to store food products? And crockery ? Am thinking we probably need to completely redesign the kitchen. Without using the...

22.11 9.05am FBG 5.5 MrSlim removed the worst of the mould damaged unit and then went back to his current job. He is decorating the front hall. We are so posh - front and back hall with double doors in between. Front hall accesses the front door ( naturally) plus the dining room and salon...

Indeed @gennepher since the discovery of chopping board mould have unearthed ( is that the right term ) a veritable biome of different mould types in an amazing assortment of colours and shapes - all in one corner of the kitchen in sufficient quantities for MrSlim to decide he will abandon...

@gennepher Have had similar soup disasters myself. But not making soup atm because it requires long simmering and we have as yet no extraction in the kitchen or  anywhere. Am getting agitated about the risk of damp and mould and indeed did find some mouldy chopping boards today, so not...

05.11 7.30am FBG 5.5 No fireworks today. The skylight inspection revealed nothing wrong. We are to call the artisan if it leaks again. Meanwhile the roofer came with two helpers and has installed all the vents needed for the VMC. Hopefully he has fixed a few of the small leaks, but also...

31.10 8.05am FBG 6 3 Not sure if this is because I didn't sleep much, or forgetting to test for over an hour. Either way yoghurt and berries sorted it out to 5.8 still experimenting with the automatic cat feeder. We need to be confident it will work - and that Kiki will be happy with it...
