Yo, I’m Dylan. I’m 26. I am trans ftm (not out to family, or medical professionals because of family).
I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes on 5th April 2016, a month before my 19th birthday in May.
I struggled to accept my diabetes at first, and because of that and with no support or help from my diabetes team, I now have diabetic retinopathy, Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, low bone mass, early menopause (undiagnosed atm). I also lost my teeth, which I am waiting for dental implants.
