Hi All
Following on from my previous enquiry about getting rid of my old unopened test strips I found I have 5 boxes spread between work and home.

Mod 3
I don't want much for them as I didn't pay but want to try and cover the cost...
Hi All
Anyone out there using any of the Accu-Chek data management software?
If so what is your opinion on their functionality and which is the beter fo the two? Is it the 360 or Smart Pix?
Thanks
Yeah unfortunately it is sad but totally understand the stance they have to take with regards to the condition of them. The tabloids would have a field day if this were to happen and there were an incident.
Hi All
Having just changed meters I am in a situation where I have about 3 unopened boxes of test strips I will no longer use. If I return these to the pharmacy will they be re-distributed or detroyed?
Reading all the comments I feel quite guilty. I'm in the process of getting a pump and...
I remember the Glucotrend and have used a few of the newer ones in between. I was quite impressed to be offfered the trial of the Accu-Chek Aviva Expert and like some of the new features on there.
Comparing it to the Spirit Combo it looks like this is a bridge towards the BG meter that comes...
****, wish I had taken the tabs and then complained to Boots.com
I thought I was going to be lucky, the girl in store was going to see if they had enough in stock to replace them but sadly they only had 2x50 pots
Bit weird to say it is a labelling mix up, the 10's are on offer at 2 for £1.50...
I was on the UK site for both, below is Accu-Chek's email
I think this must be a stock response from their customer service dept. I'd be interested to know if people have managed to get the infra-red reciever free direct from the supplier or via their DSN.
I'm quite surprised at this. I have been using an Accu-Chek Aviva Expert for about 2 weeks now on trial after using the LifeScan OTUS for a few years. Happy with the OTUS and the fact that I had the cable and drives sent to me free I was a bit surprised to see that Accu-Chek wanted to charge me...
I test on the train to and from work every day.
Some people cast curious glances about what I am doing but no-one has asked what i am doing. I have also injected on the train when eating.
Had my second meeting on Wednesday towards a pump.
Again very disappointed.
Had to wait nearly 2 hours to see the DSN (was a drop in and appreciate waits - but 90% of the people there looked like they don't work (apologies for the generalisation there)). I missed two meetings for work...
Hi Stu,
Yup we do have a diabetic clinic at the hospital. I wasn't majorly unimpressed with them, just one or two comments he made and expectaions I had were different to what happened.
He wants me to go back this week but I think I'll go next week (it's a drop-in) so I'll have more results to...
Thanks for the information all (especially the PM's)
I'm just in the process of learning how to effectively carb count and have a meeting with the DSN who specialises in pumps in 2 weeks.
What puts me off is I use SiDiary to log my BM's (I can do it on my PC at home or my Pocket PC or even...
