I've found the same recently - stomach, outer thigh, bum and arms all bruising, some quite bad! Also been diagnosed with anemia recently, so just kind of guessed they were linked?!
I'll take on board some of these comments about pressure and site rotation more though :)
I always use fruit juice cartons when I'm out and about - 200ml carton is roughly 20g carbs and about 90-100cal.
Try and opt for a banana if you're at home or tinned fruit in light juice rather than syrup :)
