Was in hospital a couple of months ago for OHS, the food was minimal and ended up with toast and jam as well as a tiny bowl of sugar free cereal and had the choice of almost no food or eat food high in sugar, then they had the dim but bright idea of not letting me manage my insulin. used to...

    Eating "forbidden" sweets

    Code Free testing

tend to use the meter to see if I am really low, like 4, average of about 8-12 and higher when it is time to take meds, the hb1ac takes a few mil of blood, the strip test meter takes a tiny amount, but I use a contour usb to allow for memory and saving to the pc

Congratulations ! You are well on your way to get your feet chopped off and to go blind, it will be well worth it ? What you need to do is to get some flat pieces of wood and tie them to your feet so that you will be like it is when your feet are amputated, ie no real control and to wear a...

    Sugar-free chocolate?

diabetic chocolate is made for the gullible as it is not cheap, the sweetener is a laxative, sorbitol i recall, much better to get the 85% cocoa solids chocolate, seen some at 90%, so by default not a lot of sugar :) plus the intense taste means a couple of squares have the same sort of flavour...
