I am a 54 year old type 1 diabetic who has lived with the condition for 43 years. Recently suffered numerous hypos resulting in voluntary surrender of my driving licence. Attended a diet and insulin management course and now awaiting introduction to omnipod pump infusion. Also suffer with rheumatoid arthritis, an underactive thyroid and stomach erosions due to the arthritis medication. All good!
