    No benefit of self-testing for type 2

    Only been diagnosed with T2 since April 2009 Diet controlled. My Gp is at the moment prescribing me testing strips x2 bottles per month. But recently told me i should not be testing as T2's don't have hypo's Grrrr....sooo wrong!!! My replie was....It's cheaper to test than to be treated later on...

    Hello from another newbie

    Hi Paul welcome to the forum Hope you can get your head round things it does take time i'm newly diagnosed too. A monitor is good to keep an eye on your levels when testing different foods, mine has become my best friend :) Good luck.
