In terms of my diabetes I don’t fit particularly into one box I have a genetic condition called Transient Neonatal Diabetes Mettilus (chromosome dupletion) which causes it and has most of my doctors confused as they have never heard of it before. I have only just been diagnosed and as a student at University am somewhat struggling with coming to terms with my new life, particularly in terms of food, glucose testing and medication.
