    Loss of appetite since diagnosis

Me too. For a month I was normal on Metformin then this week no appetite at all. I even threw away half my salad at lunchtime which is quite unheard of for me! Glad to see it's an expected reaction :) and whilst the lbs are dropping off i shall enjoy it :D

New & inspired by the advice and kindness here

Thanks so much for your responses. Hornplayer, my mum would be the same. I think I'll leave it for now. Whompa, I do take your point but I can't bring myself to cause her worry. Stellaau, I understand where you are coming from completely. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

    Newbie with very patronising DN

Thank you! I did ask if that was the reason, I think she sees me as a problem patient because I challenge her. Oh well! Thanks for both responses! :)

    Newbie with very patronising DN

Hi all! I'm so glad I've found this forum, I am 6 weeks diagnosed with T2, yet to see a doctor as they keep referring me to the DN who is the most patronising and really quite upsetting person I've ever had to deal with. On my first visit to her she told me I needed to change my lifestyle to...
