For me pre-bike ride this morning I mashed half an avocado, 4 eggs scrambled with butter, some spinach and salt over it. Honestly, hit the spot. No hunger pangs on the bike at all!

I would run 22-30 miles a week and definitely staying active and reduced carbs has enabled my honeymoon to continue...
Having a half-unit pen has made a massive difference to my control. Any meal post-exercise, 1 unit up front would send my dropping rapidly but 1/2 unit seems to be fitting the bill perfectly!
