Type 1: What are your HbA1c test results?

My last HbA1c result in January was 76 (9.1%) but according to libreview my estimated level is about 8.1%. I won't get my hopes up until I get bloods done again and find out for sure. I've been Type 1 for the past 5 and a half years with my A1c in the 80's for most of that time so it'd be nice...

High at night but low in the morning.

It could be. I've started a new sensor today and got some test strips just to make sure the readings I'm getting are correct. More often than not there's the barest difference in readings but sometimes the sensor can be dubious.

High at night but low in the morning.

That's quite possible seeing as I had fries that evening. My carb counting is still a bit rusty but luckily I've been getting a bit better at it. I have the freestyle libre sensor and it's been a blessing since I first started using it, I no longer have to worry about running out of test strips...

High at night but low in the morning.

Hi, my bedtime reading was at 11:15 and the last time I ate was at 5:45 so I don't think it was the food. I also didn't snack between those times as I've been trying to lower my HbA1c. I think you could be right about the basal dose as I just realised I had a hypo that morning, which isn't the...

    Freestyle libre issues

I had a sensor a couple of weeks ago that stopped working, and when I took it off the needle had somehow been bent, and sometimes I've been asked to retest in ten minutes but usually it works fine. Other than that I don't have a problem with the sensors, although it claims my sugars are a bit...

problem sleeping waking up with low blood sugar and anxiety

I've been having a similar enough problem where my body thinks I'm low and wakes me up after just a few hours sleep even though I could be in range before bed or above it, and I can't fall back asleep until I've treated it somehow. My guess is that either your night-time background insulin could...

High at night but low in the morning.

I have a check-up coming up in the next couple of weeks, although with the lockdown it may be postponed, but I'm definitely gonna bring it up with them as soon as I see them! I don't exactly feel comfortable with Tresiba anymore as it's doing nothing to bring my sugars in range and yet if I up...

High at night but low in the morning.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has the same experience as me. I'm currently on Tresiba and Fiasp, and I've noticed lately that my blood sugar goes really high at night and it crashes in the early/mid morning even though I wouldn't take a correction. A few nights ago, it was 16.6 before I went to...
