Diagnosed as Type 2 three years ago. Sky-high HbA1c (105mmol) led to me being put on Insulin (Novomix 30). DSN told me I was Type 1 and had probably been all my life. Tested for LADA, negative for GAD. Led extremely active life up to 3 years ago (Armed Forces, Royal Mail, Search & Rescue), no problems over 40-odd years of prior work.
