I was diagnosed in February 2017. Actually I diagnosed myself when I had a random fingerprick test done after I fainted and my glucose was 8.5!! After that I got a meter and the evidence sent me to by GP for blood tests. I wasn't surprised. Both my parents were diabetic.
I live in Ireland but was born in England. I try to keep fit and healthy (in moderation). We have so many beautiful places to walk its not difficult to motivate myself.
