Have you tried Lifescan. The One-Touch UltraSmart does everything the USB Contour does and a lot more, and it's free if you are on insulin.

A bit puzzled by this one, a) all my test strips have at least a year before expiry b) apart from the softclix carrousel lancets, all my lancets are the same size and I've never noticed an expiry on them. There is also no expiry on Novofine needles.
