    What is stopping anyone from trying the 1.8 dose. You can always drop back to 1.2 if it does'nt work for you ! As for cost I read recently that the cost of Victoza had been reduced.

    I tried 1.8 dose for nearly 3 months. It didn't help, so I'm back down to 1.2, I feel much better for it.

    Re: VICTOZA My DB Consultant refused to up my dose from 1.2 to 1.8. Instead She has put me onto a Pioglitazone tablet a day, aswell as my 4 Metformin per day

    Re: VICTOZA Many thanks for your reply. Yes I will have to review my eating habits. I work shifts, Alternating early one week, late the next, so it is hard to have regular meals. I have a meeting with my DB nurse in a couple of weeks, so I'll let you know how I get on.

    Re: VICTOZA Is there anyone taking the maximum dose ( 1.8 ). My latest 3 month blood test is reading 8. My previous one on Bayetta was 9.5. I'm still on 1.2 ?
