She does have a meter and checks 2/3 times a day. Was hoping there might be a dr, I'm worried she will hypo on LCHF while injecting insulin

My mum is type 2, on insulin and sugars aren't controlled. Still told to eat slow release carbs and low fat which makes things worse. They keep upping her meds. I would like to find a dr who can over see her medication while trying LCHF. We live in Surrey. Does anyone have any reccomendations
