Medication seems very strong for an HbA1c of 42. Going from 40 to 42 seems normal over several months. 42 shows very good control. These comments are based on my own experiences. I am a few years further on. Best of luck.

Hello I am 71 and have had type 2 for about 10 years. Metformin and Galvumet worked really well then was put on TRULICITY. What a diabolical nightmare. Felt like I was being poisoned and my body was being damaged. I am married and live in New Zealand.

TRULICITY has been a nightmare for me. Side effects made me feel extremely ill. After 10 weeks I have taken myself off it. Lowered blood sugar but didn’t loose much weight.
