Yes I’m a coeliac and have had real issues keeping my BS under control . Dietitians have been of no help and neither have my gp or diabetic nurse specialist. I’m now on over 50 mm of insulin before each meal and still my average BS is around 14.

If your going to be tested for coeliacs please don’t stop eating the foods containing gluten as this will lead to a false result. I know this as have been a diagnosed coeliac for over 10 yrs now. Re the anemia a good iron supplement and b12 will help in improve this

Yes many times but I’m not only diabetic but coeliac (strictly gluten-free) and dairy intolerant. It shocks me how bad hospitals are food wise for those on a restricted diet in general . if I know I’m going in I take food with me now.
