Thank you - just had a look at your post and your weight loss results are inspirational - i've dropped from 110kg to 91kg and noticed a huge improvement in general health conditions. if my results were marginal now they must have been a lot higher beforehand
Hi all thanks for the pointer I've phoned the surgery and HBA1C was 30 which I think is fine and lower end of scale.
They also did full blood and liver pancreas kidney functions and all were clear

I've had my bloods back from the GP surgery and all was fine - i didn't speak to the Dr just the receptionist. They didn't give me numbers of the HBAC1 but told me all was fine and no need to come back and see a doctor. It has opened my eyes to diabetes though and I will be adjusting my diet /...
Thank you for the reply here much appreciated. I'm trying to work out how my readings were compared to other people. They look borderline to me so I guess it's a waiting game and a pity my GP didn't do the hpac1 test at the same time they did the full blood count and fasted blood sugar!
