Sitting on the Throne - often!

I've suffered the same dire effect, so to speak, since starting on Metformin about six weeks ago. I've been on three a day for three weeks, which seems to have made it worse. Most evenings I'll go three or four times. This evening it was five or six (I stopped counting), and we had friends over...

    Tiredness

Thanks folks. I'll see what effect it has cutting the cereal out. Eggs is (are?) a good suggestion, I love eggs. They might also help negate one of the nasty side effect of the metformin!

It was confirmed through further tests at my GP's. My BG level was 16.0. The surgery has been postponed while I start to manage my BG...

Worn out and feeling a bit bleughhhh

Hi Bikerbaby, It's a week since I was diagnosed, and I have a few problems with tiredness/lethargy. I'm going to start a new thread about it, as there are some underlying issues. Hope you feel better soon, Wolfgang

Hello, I've just joined. I was diagnosed as type 2 three days ago. It came as a shock, although it does explain how I have been feeling recently. There's a lot to understand and take in. It's reassuring to find a forum such as this.
