    Type 1: What are your HbA1c test results?

    My HbA1c on 28th February (Date of diagnosis) was 149 or 15.8% and on the 4th April after being on Novomix 30 twice daily and 3x500mg metformin a day for 4 weeks my HbA1c was 104 or 11.7 so going in right direction.

    traveling abroad

    Hi there, Im newly diagnosed myself but had to ask about travelling as we are booked up to go abroad as well. From what the Diabetic clinic have told me and what i've found out you will need a letter from the clinic explaining your son is diabetic and to carry this on you for the airlines etc...
