A similar question for non-insulin users as for insulin users. How has using the freestyle libre helped with your Hba1C?

Further questions to come with regard to variability!

Tim - Are we talking absolutely literally in therms of staying the same, or are you talking any tolerances? e.g. 55 to 56. Is that the same or an increase?

(Polls are a nightmare. :) )

In my book, 55 to 56 is effectively the equivalent of moving from 7.2 to 7.3, so that's a change...! :p:D

I think it may be a little early for this poll. I imagine not many non-insulin users will have been using a Libre long enough to compare HbA1c results. Other than newly diagnosed, we have tests 6 or 12 monthly. My next test is due in June, so I can complete the poll then. All I can say is my finger pricking averages have notched downwards.

Replied.

I went up by 0.1%, but am content with that as a longer term variance, bearing in mind I had a load of medical tests, surgery and post-op issues within that.

Also would comment that for those of us who have used a few sensors, the vote could almost require more than one response. Last but one increased, as described, and the last one was the same as the increased one, as the medical issues came to a close.

Yes, pedantry at it's best. :p

I went from 49 to 40, to 42.The last month has been very stressful at work, I blame that for the increase. Hopefully things will get better again for the next one.
