insulin not working as normal?

the insulin you use has to be kept at room temperature!, many places in the home, school, work & outside on hot days, in the car or on holidays can exceed 30'c, this can and will impair the insulin & the insulin should be replaced. i use insulin angels, they just stick to the insulin tube or pen and go black when i leave it in the wrong place and i instantly know its impaired and get some fresh and put a new insulin angel indicator on it!, now i know the insulin is as good as fresh from the fridge.

I was wondering the same thing. Then I found these:

£20 for a box of 100. I imagine you'd want to avoid holding the labeled part of a pen or vial for too long if the ambient temp is too close to the label's 29deg trigger temp. Not sure how flexible they are though, and whether they'd conform to the curve of a vial or pen.
