Although I don't use it anywhere near as much as I did when I was first diagnosed, I do find the free software that Abbotts provide really useful to see my progress.
I got this because I was given a Freestyle Freedom Lite machine after diagnosis and you can get a free cable to download all the results to your PC, although it does allow you to input them manually too. It also allows you to enter notes against every entry so at first I used this to record what I had eaten etc.
