I must be very lucky. When my diabetic nurse first told me to gt a meter, there was a tv advert saying that they were on special at the time and so I went and bought one and filled out a form at the time. Just a few months ago the company that made the meter wrote to me and offered me a new/better type completely free of charge. When it arrived it didn't work!!! So phoned up and they arranged for a complete replacement meter to be sent asap if I would return the original. 2nd one worked.

I have never experienced any trouble, and I have lived in 3 different places, in getting testing strips, sharps bins or lancets....as many as I need, even though my new meter comes with a little drum of needles preloaded that look quite expensive to me.
