High sugars with gallstones

Hi my sugars have been high since may When I was diagnosed with gallbladder stones and inflammation.Waiting to have gallbladder out.Does this condition affect your sugar levels?

Hi @Libby66 , yes, inflammation of any kind tends to raise our blood glucose.
Being a T1, have you been in contact with your diabetes team (endo or diabetes nurse) to discuss adjusting your doses?

Hi yes she knows and she knows why.Should be having my gallbladder out on the 6th of October.This is what is causing my high sugar levels and crp markers to be high.Will let you know how I get on fingers

Hi had the op last Monday.Still got a bit of pain right hand side where the pesky thing was.I have a fatty liver which i knew about.But now I have got to see a dr about it as the surgeon says i have bubbles on the liver and she has never seen that before.So here we go again.
