Is anyone having compatibility issues? I lost so many sensors and Abbott sent me a reader. Think I will try Dexcom

If you start the sensor with the reader which Abbot send out you can then use the app but you have to scan. At least you can use the data to manage your information

There have been a few reported issues with iOS 26 and the Libre 2 Plus. A few people have suggested they are having connection issues, although Abbott hasn't directly commented on this. If you do like Libre, I think just sticking with the reader for now would be a good solution, although as you've found out, if you start the sensor with the reader, it won't send glucose readings automatically to your phone app. I've heard good things about Dexcom. You can always give it a go and see which you prefer.

Thank you I have a call with the hospital to look at Dexcom 7 and how to prescribe as it is red listed. I do like Libre but I can’t believe Abbot are behaving like this.

Hi, not sure if you have already tried this but recently I changed my libre 2 plus sensor and after doing so found that I continually had to scan as it was not connecting throughout the day automatically. I knew I couldn’t leave it overnight like it so after making sure my phone was up to date software wise, mine is on IOS 26.1. I switched the phone off completely and back on again and for me this sorted the connection and the libre 2 plus worked normally. It might not work for everyone but sorted the connection out with my sensor.

I was having alot of problems with libre especially not letting me know when I was low, because of been on freestyle for so long I had lost my awareness of lows which ended up been at 2.1 and I collapsed. I now have Dexcim g7 and it's good bad thing was I had to buy a new phone for it to be compatible. The dexckm you can wear in more places but it only updates your readings every 5 mins .

That's interesting I have tried that but will have another go
