Minimed Mobile App iPhone seventeen e

Has anyone successfully used the Minimed mobile app on an iPhone seventeen e?
If you have, how did you do it?
I know I’m an oldie, but I successfully updated the app on my older iPhone XR.
I got the new phone as the old one now needs more frequent recharging, plus the seventeen e’s small enough to carry round easily.
I really hope I’ve not made an expensive bad choice.

Panic over, I’ve done it. Woohoo!!!! I had to unpair the device from the iPhone XR before the new one could be successfully paired.
In the meantime, another Guardian Four bit the dust after only five days.
Talk about a tech grrrrr
