Hi I’m julieclarke I’ve joined to find out more about T2 diabetes

New potatoes are lovely this time of year, I can manage 2 or 3 small jersey potatoes with some butter without it affecting my blood sugar :)

I have started to eat more fish, than meat. In the hot weather it seems easy to prepare, cook, and eat. Fresh fish , only takes a few minutes to fryn hob, or wrap in foil and bake in oven.

Doyou do any cooking, @julieclarke ?

Tonight I am having some cold beef, and salad.
Mr Pipp will have a baked potato with his. I don’t eat the potatoes as I keep to low carb foods. I will eat extra salad, like cucumber and pepper, with some olives.

I just had a lovely chicken & asparagus with rosemary in a creamy sauce.. with a few new potatoes.
The timing from the recipe seemed off & it didn’t add up that they were meant to be done in one pot??
so we winged the cooking..
trust your instinct. Even the comments on this published recipe said it don't work..
I wasn’t gonna chance good ingredients.
