Hi I’m julieclarke I’ve joined to find out more about T2 diabetes

Tonight’s dinner is a mystery - hubby has been in the kitchen all afternoon cooking up a storm. Not going in there until he’s finished. He may be a trained chef (no longer) but he’s a heck of a messy one

Can anyone join in? Tonight's supper will be the second half of the pizza we had half of last night (Lidl's best, the one with semi-dried tomato and buffalo mozzarella), with the second half of the salad, ditto. I don't even like pizza very much but I stupidly put "Something nice for Sunday supper" on the shopping list and that's what my husband chose! He said they didn't have any sea bass.....

Well I had a bacon sandwich in home baked bread, only one round mind and 3 skinny rashers, did enjoy it even though the bread spikes me.

Got fresh fish tonight with ‘few’ potatoes and veg.

Looks nice
It was. The recipe was on YouTube, here. I'm not 100% convinced by it; I think that I prefer to cook the pasta separately, and not put water in with the courgettes. But it was definitely edible! I think tomorrow we'll have shakshuka with some leftover jollof rice that I have in my freezer (thus lowering the carb content, among other benefits!).

I find if I’m out sitting in the sun too long my blood sugar goes up. But if I’m exercising in the sun it can fall very quickly.
