i scratched my foot which appears to have an insect bite from the garden. Its now slightly discoloured (reddish with a patch thats faintly purplish) and has a burning sensation and is swollen. I did call 111 but i think the last person i spoke to might not have been familiar with diabetic complications because the first person i spoke to put it as a priority, but the second seemed to put it as less urgent.
Im having trouble sleeping and wondered if anyone else had any thoughts or experience of this type of thing? I dont want to leave it too long.
