I've been doing tai chi for some years now, and it has been really transformative for my health and general levels. However, I think to bring some variation to our warmups, our instructor has taught us what's called finger qi gong (am I allowed to link to a video? If so, I'll do so in a follow-up comment), whereby one manipulates the hands and fingers to stimulate various organs of the body, and/or reduce pain levels. One such exercise is thought to regulate blood sugar levels, and one of our number has always insisted it does. So this morning I decided to test it. Before performing the exercise, my blood glucose (mid-morning) was 6.9. A minute or so later, it was 5.1!!!
Has anybody else ever heard of it, tried it, and/or found it to work for them?
