Type 1 Moving back to the UK

Hi All,
I hope this post finds you well.
We are looking to move back to the UK from Australia in 2027. During our time living here, our eldest (born in the UK) was diagnosed with Type 1.
I’ve never had to navigate the world of NHS and Type 1 nor do I know what is covered vs. What is not etc. We are currently on Omnipod 5.
Does anyone have any insights, tips or advice , things we made need to do or register with? Any information will be incredibly helpful.

Complete a GMS1 form to register with a GP near your home. Bring proof that you are eligible for free healthcare.

Welcome to the forum.

I don’t pump.
Get yourself a GP & register first in the area you settle back.
Then referral for your son to a diabetes specialist from the GP at a local hospital.
