Any advice on stopping nighttime lows...usually
Around 2am. I take lantus and inject it at 1.30pm when
I also have my lunch. I have tried reducing the lantus
But didn't help Just made me go higher in the day.
Also tried having a bigger snack before bed but that
Can then have the opposite affect and make the levels too high! Any advice would be gratefully recieved!!

Hi,
How long have you been diagnosed? I'm new so please take what I say with a pinch of salt! This has happened to me a couple of times, but at about 5am, I was down to 1.9 at one point as it didn't occur to me that the reason I felt really hot was due to a hypo. I am going through the so called "honeymoon" phase which is why I wondered how long you've been diagnosed. My DSN lowered my lantus and told me to further reduce it if it happens again. Also, perhaps think about what you have for a bedtime snack? There are loads of good suggestions on here. Good luck! I'm also trying to get on the level!!
