    I'm not really sure - it might just be a one off!! I gave my bolus 30mins before breakfast and then had 2 boiled eggs and a slice of multigrain bread toast (20g carbs) The rest of the morning was normal!!! I'll see if it works again tomorrow x

    Every 3 months for me - my diabetic hospital team know that I like to know where I am with my HbA1c - it's like little short term goals for me - they were very happy for me to do it this way x

    The results are in ……… no bolus and no food Before bed - 6.0 7am - 7.1 8am - 8.7 9am - 8.8 10am - 7.9 Still a slight increase without food or bolus - take it that means I need an increase in my basal dose?!!! x

    Sorry not very clear - I meant if my b/g was over 10 then I should correct and aim for 10mmols …… so if I was 12 - give 1 unit to drop it to 10 x

    Oh dear - has your son tried using an eye patch for the double vision? I had a little headache with my double vision. Not sure if your sons reason for the double vision is the same as mine but it might help his symptoms of double vision x it helped me a lot in the beginning x

    Will try that in the morning - thank you @donnellysdogs I test when I wake, 1 hour after food, 2 hours after food and when I feel low in that time! I test a lot - slightly obsessed! :) x
