Yeah we use the Easy Yo makers as well. Hadn't used it for some time until last week but just made some up and it is very tasty.

Well they weren't too bad. A little on the eggy side and possibly could do with a spot more sweetener but another option. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

I put a similar topic on the Low Carb board and someone put on a Low Carb breakfast pancake recipe which might appeal to you. I'm going to try it this weekend.

I would agree berries don't seem to cause me too many issues. I don't avoid fruit in general, just take an appropriate amount of insulin for it.

Welcome to the forum. I can sympathise with what you are going through and it is just about what you said, Knowledge is Power!! Just try and keep a track of things as best you can, if you are going through the Honeymoon Period your pancreas will be producing its own insulin but will be...

They sound really tasty, I will definately give them a go. Are they pretty much carb free or does the almond meal add some carbs? Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    "Honeymoon" period

Yeah I'm usually just afterwards. I am a Cub Leader and the amount of times I hypo after doing anything with them is unbelievable. I hope your pump is going well. I have been approved since March but apparently there is no funding at the moment so I'm on a waiting list of two. It's...

    "Honeymoon" period

So many people say exercise helps them, it's always been my Achilles Heel and I always seem to hypo. Thats my next goal for getting something right with diabetes, running around after a two year old can cause issues at times.

    Coffee...

I find the 'Costa Style' coffee doesn't cause a rise in my glucose levels, which I've always found strange with it being mainly milk. Anytime I try and bolus for them I'll hypo, if I take no bolus all is well. Some of the Tassimo's can have quite a lot of carbs but I'm sure the Costa Cappuccino...

    Coffee...

Have you noticed your glucose levels rise with coffee? I also love coffee and don't notice any changes from having it. Luckily been one of the things I've not had to change much since I was diagnosed. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

You will know when your honeymoon period is at an end when you readings start coming out higher. This is when you will need to start taking more insulin again. Keep an eye on your glucose levels, it could be weeks, months or in some cases years. If you are sensible with your diet and exercise a...

I'll maybe give it a go. The greek style yoghurt and blueberries seems to be working out great. Started off at 6.7 this morning, worked out my breakfast as just under 10g carbs, took 1U and my reading after 4 hours was 6.5

    Lantus

I might be wrong but I'm sure when I started splitting my dose it was because my levels were rising quite a bit towards the end of the 24hrs. I used to take it around 10pm yet from around 6pm onwards my levels would go up without any real explantion. In my case my DSN actually told me to keep...
