    On the subject of yogurt any suggestions for a low carb dairy free or lactose free yogurt? Asda do a Greek yogurt lactose free 2% Fat which is 4.9g carbs per 100g which i bought today.

    Blood sugars have been between 5-7. The thirst has only been an issue since I cut down on the carbs and I've only been doing that the last few days. Yes, I'm on Humulin I following pancreatitis.

    Breakfast - mackerel, eggs and lactofree cheese, herbal tea. Lunch - grilled salmon and salad, herbal tea. Dinner will be tandoori chicken and cauliflower rice

    Only breakfast so far - Scrambled egg and 1 slice Wholemeal toast. Pre-meal BG 9.0, 1hr 13.9, 2hrs 11.9 I really need to go shopping, so much of my food in is high carbs :bag:

    Since being home after the pancreatitis diagnosis it has gone as low as 3.5 and as high as 16.

    Not prior to the pancreatitis diagnosis but I know it was very high while I was in hospital, they were checking my ketones all the time. I was pretty out of it so I don't remember the exact figures. I was in hospital for several weeks because of the pancreatitis.

    Well baked beans are definitely a no go even the no added sugars ones that I have, bloods were 6.9 pre-meal, 13.9 2hrs post and then back down to 6.9 4hrs post. Small portion with some scrambled eggs for breakfast o_O
